July 9, 2015

By Kari Benson, MPA, and Rajean Moone, PhD, Minnesota Board on Aging. The White House Conference on Aging (WHCOA) occurs every 10 years to prioritize the national issues for older Americans for the next decade. The Minnesota Board on Aging partnered with a number of organizations to host local WHCOA listening sessions throughout Minnesota. The local sessions gathered diverse constituents to discuss aging policy and collect information to shape the recommendations to be submitted from Minnesota. The 2015 WHCOA was held on July 13.
