The COVID pandemic has shown a spotlight on and in many cases exacerbated many long-standing issues in health and human service for older adults. These issues are also accompanied by more complex ethical dilemmas faced by the professionals working with older adults and their families. This presentation explores “hot topic” ethical issues currently facing gerontological helping professionals in today’s world. A framework will also be discussed as a tool utilized in making ethical decisions. During the webinar, participants will practice analyzing current ethical issues using the ethical decision-making framework.
