There are over 26,000 open positions in senior care communities across the state. At a time when students should be flocking to aging studies, that doesn't appear to be the case. This plenary session will explore the paradox of the demographic shift within the context of aging studies and gerontology programs across the state. A panel of experts will describe the state of education in Minnesota and welcome a conversation on its future.
